Churches

The purpose of Release International Mission to plant as many churches as possible to mark the Kingdom of Heaven in every community and language and provide proper discipleship of the believers. These are the national churches established and being established in different nations with the mandate of teaching/feeding believers with the Word of God to grow to maturity. A few churches are planted among refugees in the target countries, and in turn they reach and plant churches among the least reached communities within the respective countries. RIM Kenya has so far planted 18 churches in Nairobi, Turkana and Marsabit Counties.

  • Kenya is a Christian country in East Africa. Kenya has many communities that have not been reached with the Gospel. It is in Kenya that Release was born since 1994 in partnership with Free Pentecostal Fellowship in Kenya.

    Release Antioch Church Kasarani. The first own church was established in March 2010 in Kasarani, Nairobi with Bishop Simon Nkundabantu. He oversees the ministry and is the Senior Pastor of Release Antioch Church at Kasarani. He has been a Pastor since 1981 in D.R. Congo. He planted several churches in Congo before he joined Victor Mikebanyi in Kenya in 2002.

    Release Guthurai Church was the second church to be established by Pastor Robert Ndayemeye. It is currently led by Pastor Etienne Bzicaza.

    Release Ongata Rongai Church. It was officially started on Sunday, October 09, 2011, with Pastor Claude Mico Tambatamba. The church is currently led by Pastor Haggai.

    Assistant coordinator for Canada, and RIM IT Director
    Pastor Etienne Byishimo, a part from his pastoral ministry and his local Church and he will continue to serve as an International IT Director and vice-chairman of Release International Christian Church in Canada.

    Pastor Robert as it was agreed before that he will continue to chair RIM Christian Churches in Canada and continue to represent and serve closely with new church planted Australia.

    Missionary Charles Mwungura, will continue serving to Oversee all operations of Organization, Churches and Strategies for planted churches to ensure they grow and well equipped to be able to undertake the mandate in God’s kingdom and are consistent with the overall strategy and mission and currently USA RIM Agency.
